Legal basis and purpose of processing personal data
The legal basis for processing personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation is
- Development and management of customer relationships.
- Sale and marketing of the controller's products.
- Payment, payment monitoring and collection.
The purpose of processing personal data is to contact customers, maintain customer relationships, deliver products and market them with the person's consent.
Data content of the register
- First and last name.
- Contact information (postal address, telephone number, email address).
- Start and end date and method of customer relationship.
- Wishlist products.
- Order history, such as ordered products, returns and payments.
- Location information for service localization (currencies, languages, delivery methods).
- Product reviews.
- Online store browsing and usage information.
Regular data sources
The information stored in the register is obtained from the customer, for example, when the customer places an order in the online store, from messages sent via www forms, by email, in which the customer provides their information. We also receive information from the Google Analytics service.
Regular disclosure of information and transfer of information outside the EU or EEA
No information from the customer register is regularly disclosed outside the EU or EEA. Within the EU, data may be disclosed to a third party for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, such as delivering the product to the address provided by the customer. In accordance with applicable legislation, data may be disclosed to authorities.
Principles of register protection
The data in the customer register is collected in databases that are protected by firewalls and passwords. Only persons employed by the company have access to and use the data.
Right of inspection and right to demand correction
Every person in the register has the right to check their data stored in the register and to demand correction of any incorrect data or completion of incomplete data. If a person wishes to check the data stored about them or demand correction, the request must be sent in writing to the controller. If necessary, the controller may ask the requester to prove their identity. The controller will respond to the customer within the time period stipulated in the EU Data Protection Regulation (generally within one month).
Other rights related to the processing of personal data
A person in the register has the right to request that personal data concerning him or her be deleted from the register (“right to be forgotten”). Data subjects also have other rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as the restriction of the processing of personal data in certain situations. Requests must be sent in writing to the controller. If necessary, the controller may ask the requester to prove his or her identity. The controller will respond to the customer within the time period specified in the EU Data Protection Regulation (generally within one month).
